Jay Similton led Jay M. Robinson to the championship of the Mount Pleasant Invitational wrestling tournament.
Robinson won with 195.5 points, followed by Northwest Cabarrus with 166 and Mount Pleasant with 160.5.
Similton was Most Outstanding Wrestler. He won the 125-pound class and reached 102 career wins.
Robinson placed seven wrestlers in the championship matches, winning four of them. Two Bulldogs finished third.
Other individual champions included: Garrison White, Robinson; Rob Golde, Northwest Cabarrus; Dominic Parisi, Robinson; Luke Dutch, Northwest Cabarrrus; James White, Robinson; Eric Bridges, Northwest Cabarrus; Nick Albertson, Mount Pleasant; Clay Eudy, Mount Pleasant; Thomas Lowe, South Rowan; and Micah Honeycutt, Carson.
East Rowan was fourth with 127 points, followed by South Rowan, 106; Piedmont, 92; Sun Valley, 83; Concord, 65; Carson 64; and Salisbury, 56.
