A family was arrested Tuesday in connection with a litany of robbery charges in three counties.
Ronald Wayne Hargett, 48, Lori Honeycutt Hargett, 43, Michael Dean Hargett, 18, Christopher Shane Hargett, 20, and Jonathan Wayne Hargett, 23, were arrested in connection with a cutting catalytic converters off of a U-Haul vehicle and destroying heating and air conditioning units behind the Sofa Store in Salisbury; stealing metals from a quarry on Artz Road in Salisbury; larceny of tools from Cabarrus County; stealing a motorcycle from Albemarle; the theft of 42 fishing rods from Rockwell; breaking into the H&M Wood Preserves in Salisbury and stealing a computer and tools, Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan County Sheriff's Department said. Police believe the family used the same blue minivan in every crime they're accused of, authorities said.

Police searched the families 234 Johnson Dairy Road home on Nov. 4 and found two guns and the stolen property from the three counties-Rowan, Cabarrus and Stanly, authorities said.

Charges are not complete in the case, police said, but the family is currently being held in the Rowan County Detention Center.
