The Northwest Cabarrus softball team bounced back from its first league loss to beat East Rowan 7-1 in North Piedmont Conference play on Tuesday.
Alex Yohe allowed three hits and struck out 11 for the victory.
Yohe also went 2 for 4 with three RBIs at the plate.
Rebecca Faust had two hits and one RBI, while Britney David had a hit and two RBIs.
The Trojans were coming off a 5-3 loss to North Iredell on Monday.
Northwest (5-3, 5-1) travels to Mooresville on Friday.
