The Central Cabarrus baseball team beat Jay M. Robinson 4-1 Tuesday in MECA Conference play.
Winning pitcher Dalton Shuford threw a one-hitter, striking out 16 in the seven-inning game.
Shuford also hit a three-run homer, while Ryan Watlington was 3-for-3 and Zach Furr had two hits.
Central improved to 4-1 in the league and 6-2 overall.
