Wonders sweep track meets

The A.L. Brown boys track team edged Hickory Ridge in competition Thursday.
Boys team scores were: A.L. Brown 112, Hickory Ridge 101, Porter Ridge 56, Piedmont 43, Parkwood 37 and Concord 4.
Individual event winners for the Wonders were: Dillon Robinson, 100 dash; Jerrod Lipscomb, 110 and 300 hurdles; and Tavis Bailey, discus.
Individual event winners for Hickory Ridge were: Casey Buddenbaum, 1600 run; Coye Still, high jump and long jump; and Dakota Shoe, shot put.
A.L. Brown also won the girls meet.
Girls team scores were: A.L. Brown 126, Hickory Ridge 77.5, Porter Ridge 46, Parkwood 38, Concord 31.5 and Piedmont 31.
Individual event winners for the Wonders were: Aziah Walker, 400 run; Keonna Artis, high jump; Samara Tisdale, shot put; and Krystal Johns, discus.
Individual event winners for Hickory Ridge were: Teal McLean, 1600 and 3200 run; and Candra Mathis, triple jump.
For Concord, Juanita Leto won 100 and 300 hurdles.
