Hickory Ridge moves into first place

The Hickory Ridge golf team moved into first place in the South Piedmont Conference season standings following a win Monday at Charlotte National.
The Ragin' Bulls edged Marvin Ridge 166-167.
Porter Ridge and Piedmont totaled 174, Parkwood 176, A.L. Brown 188, Anson County 194, Concord 204 and Sun Valley did not have enough players for a team score.
Hickory Ridge's Evan Danchenka was medalist with a 2-over par 38.
Also for the Bulls, David West shot 41, Phillip Brady 43 and Brandon Lukasik 44.
For A.L. Brown, Nick Buckwell shot 41, Andrew Leslie 44, Corey Klepper 51 and Tyler Buckwell 52.
For Concord, Wainwright Ritchie shot 41, Rob Suddreth 47, Steven Lattin 54 and Evann Carpenter 62.
