The unbeaten Mount Pleasant softball team built an 11-2 lead, then held on for an 11-10 nonconference win over Jay M. Robinson on Monday.
For the host Tigers (13-0), Georgia Parker went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, and Allison Starnes swatted a pair of two-run homers.
Mount Pleasant collected 14 hits, with Lindsey Honeycutt adding two hits and two RBI.
Robinson had 10 hits. Katie Calloway doubled and singled and Taylor Twitty hit a two-run homer.
Winning pitcher Taylor Carpenter went all seven innings, giving up five earned runs. She walked four and struck out three.
Robinson, which scored four runs in the sixth inning and four more in the seventh, had the tying run at third base when the game ended.
The Tigers scored all of their runs in the first three innings, getting six runs in the third.
