The Concord softball team beat Forest Hills 6-2 Wednesday in nonconference play.
Winning pitcher Kristin Durant threw a three-hitter. She struck out three.
Caitlin Steele hit a two-run double for the Spiders (7-5).
Steele, Jessica Batten, Carlie Bodder, Durant and Casey Shue had two hits.
Concord returns to South Piedmont Conference play Thursday at Porter Ridge.
