Hickory Ridge wins by shutout

The Hickory Ridge girls soccer team posted a 5-0 shutout of Sun Valley in a South Piedmont Conference game at Hickory Ridge on Thursday.
Christine Lutz scored three goals and dished out two assists to lead the Ragin' Bulls.
Kristen Smith netted the other two goals and added one assist.
Meagan Thayer recorded two assists and Liz Thompson made eight saves to notch the shutout.
Hickory Ridge (11-2, 8-2) now stands in second place in the SPC, behind unbeaten Marvin Ridge.
