KANNAPOLIS - Kannapolis City Council begins its two-day retreat today at Pity Sake Lodge. On the agenda today, council and staff will be discussing quality-of-life issues, like parks and rec, code enforcement and recycling; and police and fire department will present their priorities.
On Friday, Council will meet at the Core Research Laboratory at the N.C. Research Campus and discuss planning and economic development, and (everyone's favorite topic), taxes.
