KANNAPOLIS - The Kannapolis Fire Department is offering free CPR classes.
Participants will be taught adult, child and infant CPR as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Each course will use American Heart Association curriculum and a test will be given at the end of the day for certification purposes.
Classes are the fourth Saturday of each month, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Station No. 1, 300 Firehouse Drive, Kannapolis. This program is free for residents and $3 for non-residents.
Class size is limited to 20 participants and registration is required. Those interested can register until 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the desired class or until the class is full. When registering online, please advise which month you will be attending.
