Robinson, NW win swimming

The Jay M. Robinson girls swim team won the Pfeiffer Invitational meet.
Robinson won with 437 points. Northwest Cabarrus was second with 281, followed by Mallard Creek (280) and North Davidson (244).
Northwest Cabarrus won the boys meet, outscoring Mallard Creek 379-364. Robinson was third with 329 and North Davidson scored 170.
In the girls meet, the Robinson team of Alex Kirk, Meghan Masius, Katy Gilbert and Julia Greer won the 200 medley relay.
Gilbert, Addison White, Kirk and Greer won the 200 free relay.
Gilbert won 100 butterfly, and Masius won 100 breaststroke.
For the Northwest girls, Yukina Onoda won 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley.
In the boys meet, Northwest's team of Nic Cannon, Caison Roycroft, Patrick Grogg and Ethan Garrison won the 200 medley.
For Robinson, Rene Brown won 100 butterfly and Chad Heiser won 500 freestyle.
