Cabarrus County Schools will have a two-hour delay, Kannapolis City Schools Closed on Tuesday

Cabarrus County Schools has announced it will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday.
Kannapolis City Schools has announced that schools will be closed on Tuesday, and the makeup day will be May 25, Memorial Day.
The makeup day for school canceled on Monday for Kannapolis City Schools will be April 10, a previously scheduled holiday, said Ellen Boyd, public relations director for the school system.
Cabarrus County Schools will not announce the makeup day for Monday until Tuesday, said Ronnye Boone, public relations director for the school system.
Boone did not name specific days that will be considered for Monday's makeup day but said that a Saturday or a holiday are possibilities.
