The Northwest Cabarrus tennis team defeated Central Cabarrus 7-2 Tuesday in nonconference play.
Clay Perry, Sam Miller, Sam Xin and Jeremy Whitaker won singles matches for Northwest.
Singles winners for Central were Ben Grasburg and Quentin Vandenburg.
Northwest swept the doubles matches.
