The A.L. Brown boys track team edged Jay M. Robinson 98-96 Tuesday in a meet held at Mount Pleasant.
Northside Christian was third with 74 points, followed by Mount Pleasant with 60 and Central Cabarrus with 44.
The girls meet was even closer. Robinson nipped A.L. Brown 126-125, followed by Mount Pleasant with 60, Central Cabarrus 23 and Northside Christian 10.
