The A.L. Brown softball team picked up its first win of the season on Wednesday, outscoring host Parkwood 10-8.
Ashley Harris and Brittany Morgan each had two hits for the Wonders. Zebresha Blakeney had three runs scored.
Morgan was the winning pitcher. She struck out seven.
Kannapolis (1-3, 1-2) hosts Piedmont at 5 p.m. Friday.
