A.L. Brown's Tavis Bailey excelled in the Marvin Ridge Invitational track meet.
Bailey won the discus with a stadium-record throw of 148 feet, 3 inches, a regional-qualifying effort.
Also for the Wonders, Larry Scaggs was third in the 3200 run with a time of 10:11, a regional qualifying time.
The A.L. Brown girls team finished sixth out of 22 teams, scoring 64 points. Butler won with 85.5.
In the 200 dash, the Wonders' Tylivia Blackwelder was second in 26.3 seconds, Keonna Eaton was third in 27.1 and Estella Clark fourth in 27.3.
Eaton was second in the 100 dash in 12.4 seconds, and Blackwelder placed third in the 100 with a time of 12.7.
Krystal Jones was fourth in discus (98 1 1/2, regional qualifying throw), Keonna Artis was fourth in high jump (5-0) and Clark sixth in 400 run (1:04.4).
In the relays, Wonders girls teams were fourth in the 400 (52.2), fifth in the 800 (1:52.5) and sixth in the 1600 (4:34.5).
