The Northwest Cabarrus boys and girls track teams finished second in the North Piedmont Conference meet.
The Mooresville girls edged Northwest 137.83 to 135 for the title.
First-place finishers for Northwest were: Maklisha Ford, 100 hurdles; Sushannie Blake, 100 dash; Kamesha Atwell, 300 hurdles; Tori Elliott, 200 dash; Arianna Tucker, high jump; and the 1600 relay team of Atwell, Kameka Atwell, Gabrielle Mitchell and Aja'phoni Dixon
Atwell set a school record in the 300 hurdles of 46.94 seconds.
Placing second were: Ford in long jump and triple jump; Elliott in 100 dash; Gabrielle Mitchell in 400 dash; and the 3200 relay team. Finishing third for Northwest were: Shannon Lafleur in pole vault, Kameka Atwell in 400 dash and the 800 relay team.
Mooresville beat the Northwest boys 135-124.
Winners for the Trojans were: Garrett West, 800 and 1600; Daniel Caldwell, long jump; Trevor Anderson, triple jump; and the 1600 relay team of West, Fred House, Desmond Williams and Bryan Mixon.
Placing second for Northwest were: Caldwell, triple jump; Jacob Whaley, high jump; Paul Wiredu, 100 dash; and the 800 relay team. Chase Fisher was third for Northwest in 1600 run.
All athletes who won were named to the all-conference team.
In addition to those athletes, the top two point scorers who did not win an event automatically made all-league, and each team could nominate one boy and one girl as an at-large selection.
Wiredu earned all-league honors based on points, and Ariel Mitchell and Fisher are at-large all-NPC honorees.
