Jaime Duque Riveria, 25, died from the gunshot wounds he sustained Wednesday morning at his home in Concord, according to the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office.
At about 6 a.m. the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from 3899 Pintall Dr. about possible gunshots at the residence. When the officers arrived they saw Riveria lying in the front yard.
Riveria was transported to CMC-NorthEast where he later died from the gunshot wounds.
The investigation is still ongoing and the sheriff's office is asking anyone with information about this death to call Detective B.A. Schmitt at 704-920-3000 or Cabarrus County Crime Stoppers 704-93-crime.
