Lane closed on I-85 in Concord Monday, Tuesday

CONCORD - The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the southbound lane of Interstate 85 in Concord, near Exit 55, the N.C. 73 interchange.

The lane closure will be today and Tuesday between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., said NCDOT spokeswoman Jen Thompson in a statement. Work crews will be taking pavement samples for the future widening project.
