South Main in Kannapolis to close for road work

KANNAPOLIS - The N.C. DOT will close South Main Street in Kannapolis for the next two Mondays.

Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., crews will be working on the railroad bridge that crosses over U.S. 29A near U.S. 29/601.

There will be a posted detour and motorists are urged to use caution and to reduce speed in this work zone.
