What life and professional experiences do you feel will help you, if elected?
13 years as a commissioner with Town of Mount Pleasant, 10 years as mayor of Mount Pleasant, 5 years on town planning/zoning board, 28 years in administration with Cabarrus County Schools, working daily with the public.

What are the three biggest issues facing your constituency and your community?
Controlled growth, infrastructure, parks and recreational facilities. Significant infrastructure in place to have controlled growth is the most important. Without the proper infrastructure growth will not occur.

What specifically would you do to spur economic development and bring jobs, if elected?
Look for potential grant opportunities that may be available to assist with economic development or possible incentives to attract businesses to the town.

What is your vision for the community that would shape your decisions, if elected?
My vision is to have a community in which people would like to call home or just a nice friendly place to visit.

Do you have any hobbies?
Spending time with my granddaughter Abby, fishing, traveling
