What life and professional experiences do you feel will help you if elected?
I have served on the Midland Town Council for the past four years, which gives me experience with local government and how it works. Also during my time on Midland Town Council I have chaired the Strategic Planning Committee, led the effort to redesign the Town website, worked with Cabarrus County departments to bring services to the Midland community, and led the creation of a strategic plan for the Midland community. During my professional career I have managed varying sizes of staff, led several major initiatives for large companies, and created/implemented many new processes to help companies to be efficient.

What are the three biggest issues facing your constituency and your community?
Sewer availability, lack of Cabarrus County services, and need for growth. Of those, which is the most important and why? Sewer availability is key to the growth of our community without it we can't grow. Continuing to work on the sewer availability is a number goal for myself and the current Midland council.

What specifically would you do to spur economic development and bring jobs if elected? Resolving the sewer availability for the community must occur to help spur economic development and bring jobs. Without the sewer issue resolved our growth potential either economic or community is very limited.

What is your vision for the community that would shape your decisions if elected?
Continue to maintain the rural quality of living in Midland while helping with the economic and community development. The Mayor and Town Council need to resolve the three key issues facing our community being sewer availability, lack of Cabarrus County services, and the need for growth before the vision of Midland can be completed.
