What life and professional experiences do you feel will help you, if elected?
My membership in numerous non-profit, educational, civic, religious and service organizations has given me the opportunity to work with adults, youth and children throughout the county for many years. These experiences have made me aware of the many needs of the Cabarrus County constituency of all age levels. I have held leadership roles in some organizations and that has helped me to develop leadership skills. Presently, I am serving my fourth year on the Concord City Council. I have listened to the various concerns of the citizens who have personally contacted me and I contacted other city employees to resolve their issues in an effective and timely manner.

What are the three biggest issues facing your constituency and your community?
Economic development, more employment opportunities with comparative salaries, additional affordable housing, continue to improve the quality of life within the city of Concord (safety, public transportation, traffic flow, education, etc.)

What specifically would you do to spur economic development and bring jobs, if elected?
Economic development is the most important because employment is needed to obtain basic needs.
I would support industry and/or businesses that are interested in relocating in our area, and work toward the availability of a work force that would qualify for employment (Ex.: Courses at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College)

Do you have any hobbies?
Collecting angels, traveling, reading and shopping
