CONCORD — The Piedmont Farmer's Market will begin its Winter Tailgate Market from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 518 Winecoff School Road, Concord.
Local farmers and producers will have fresh seasonal produce, beef, pastured pork and free-range eggs. Specialty food vendors and local artisans also will be in attendance.
The market will open on the second and fourth Saturdays of January, February and March and for the second Saturday in April, due to the increased demand.
The Cabarrus County Herb and Plant Festival, which is an ongoing project of the Cabarrus County Master Gardener Volunteer Association, will be on April 17. The market's regular season will begin April 24.
