The world’s largest high-definition video board is coming to Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2011, it was announced Tuesday.
At 200 feet wide and 80 feet tall, weighing 165,000 pounds, the video board will be located between turns 2 and 3 along the backstretch.
The speedway is partnering with Panasonic for the 720P visuals illuminated by more than 9 million LED lamps.
Speedway officials said the video board is bigger than the White House and 40 percent bigger than the video board at the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium.
