Newcomer Dianne P. Berry, of Kannapolis, will challenge two incumbents for a seat on the Kannapolis Board of Education, representing the Cabarrus County side, or Area I.
Berry is challenging incumbents Charles Mitchell and Doris H. Buchanan, both of Kannapolis. There are two seats on the ballot for this non-partisan race, each for a four-year term.
