Sheriff's Office seeks information on Midland break-ins

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of break-ins occurring in the Midland area. About a dozen break-ins into homes and vehicles have occurred in the past month. Officials said the break-ins started before Christmas, with suspects mostly targeting vehicles.

Some vehicles were locked and suspects forced their way into the vehicles. Most of these incidents have taken place at night.

 

Anyone with any information about these crimes can call the Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers at 704-93CRIME (704-932-7463) or text CRIMES (274637) keyword 93CRIME (9327463).

Anyone who makes a tip can do so completely anonymously and may be qualified for a reward of up to $1,000. All calls, texts and e-mails are masked and cannot be traced.
